Please join us on August 26 for our next playing meeting with Glen Shannon. An Archeological Dig Join us as Glen takes us on a historical expedition of the American Recorder Society (ARS) “catacombs”. We will explore early editions of the ARS member’s library and celebrate the important historical figures in the ARS who created them, including Erich Katz, Jennifer W. Lehmann, and David Goldstein. The ARS is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Erich Katz (1900-1973), who was one of the most important people in the American recorder movement in the 20th century. Grab your fedora and your recorder and come along on our journey, searching for some lost art!
